On 29th and 30th March in Pravets is held the 5th annual conference of Travel Academy. In the three business halls of the forums are discussing the current challenges in the tourism sector, the trends of the future and the opportunities for the development of the hotel sector. According to nearly 200 participants, this is the best professional event in Bulgaria that gives a different look and offers new ideas and useful contacts for the participants.
Every year, not only business representatives, but also members of state institutions, technology companies, and in all 30 lecturers present trends in the industry. Some of the conference topics will be presented on the website www.travelbulgaria.news, which is a media partner of the event. Hoteliers had the chance to learn about the 7 basic mistakes they made when developing their website, symbolically called “deadly sins” by Dimo Jelev.
The main mistakes made in the development of online identity that the hotels admit are the lack of a complete brand vision, a denial of one’s own identity, a lack of mobile version and visibility, the publication of outdated information, or a lack of essential information for consumers, outdated data and photos, too complicated navigation that confuses the user and loss of confidence.
If you do not have a mobile version of your hotel website, you are no longer up to date on the market, as the only new users that grow each year are precisely those, according to Google, said the lecturer Stanislav Dimitrov. This is the global trend, with consumers looking at mobile-based pages expected to catch up with those who use a laptop or desktop computer in the year 2020, said Zhelev.
