7th May Flower Festival St. Constantine and Helena
From May 21 to May 24 the greenest and most beautiful sea resort of Bulgaria “St. Constantine and Helena” for the seventh time will host a variety of floral compositions. The floral celebration will coincide with the opening of the summer tourist season in 2014, which traditionally takes place on the day of St. Constantine and St. Helen, Equal to the Apostles, who gave the name of the resort.
At the exhibition will be presented leading companies in the field of landscaping, flowers business as well as various design companies, working in the floral and gardening fields. The festival will be held for three days in a row at the square of Chernomorets parking, giving all those who adore nature and fairy-tale flowers the opportunity to add to the beauty of their gardens. The organizers have planned numerous accompanying events at the open stage of Chernomorets parking. One of them is a festive concert on May 21, on the occasion of the opening of the festival and the opening of the summer season, featuring the Academic Dance Theatre of the Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”, Studio “Palace” and other. Traditionally, on May 22, the resort will host a children’s holiday, accompanied by an asphalt drawing contest. The festive day will also mark the end of the contest, organized by the foundation “St. St. Constantine and Helena”, for writing a story and making a drawing on the topic: “I have a dream”. Finalists will be awarded prizes and all children, who took part in the contest will receive certificates for participation. On May 23 there is also a planned musical and artistic program for children.
