Until June 7, the agencies are applying for state aid of 35 euros per tourist brought to Bulgaria by plane

Until 4.30 pm on June 7, tour operators can apply for state aid in the amount of 35 euros for every tourist who arrived in Bulgaria on a airplane in the period January 1 – May 31, 2021. This was announced by the Ministry of Tourism. Eligible candidates are tour operators who in the tourist packages sold by them have used the service of air carriers or scheduled flights with a capacity of not less than 100 seats to Bulgaria, the ministry said.

Funding is 35 euros for each seat with a minimum of 100 seats sold up to the maximum flight capacity. The maximum amount of state aid is EUR 800,000 per company, the amount being before deducting taxes or other fees.
