Amateur football tournament “ALBENA CUP 2013” with a prize fund of BGN 15000

Summer 2013 starts with a plenty of emotions. Albena resort will host the second edition of the amateur football tournament “Albena Cup 2013”. The event will take place from June 6-9, 2013. The organizers are ready to provide excellent football pitches. The most successful Bulgarian football coach Dimitar Penev will be the patron of event. The prize fund is BGN 15 000. The contest is intended for amateurs, and each team will include at least six players. Champions will win BGN 4 000 and vice-champions will leave with BGN 3 000. Semi-finalists are to receive BGN 2 000 and teams qualified between 5th and 8th place receive BGN 1 000 BGN. Until now applications have been submitted by 25 teams, as announced at a press conference in Sofia today. The registration deadline has been extended until June 4, 2013 inclusive. Every team participating in the tournament will receive promotional soccer equipment from the organizers. The technical conference and the draw will be held on June 6, 2013 in Albena. Matches start on June 7, 2013 at 10.30 a.m. The final phase of “Albena Cup 2013” will take place on June 9, 2013.
