The Balkan Arts Festival will take place in Karnobat from 14th to 16th July. Apart from the various forms of contemporary art and singing, the guests of the festival can also enjoy an urban dinner prepared by Uti Bachvarov. The famous Bulgarian actor and chef will prepare an attractive barbecue, weighing 2 tons.

If you visit the festival you will be able to hear and see folk songs and dances from Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia, and Albania, as well as wedding traditions. The artists, whose performances you will be watching during the three days of the festival, are nearly 600. As part of the feast, there will be break battles that you can see on July 15 at 7 p.m.

The event will take place in two scenes – in the central square in Karnobat “Third March” and in the City Park. The hosts of the event will be Nasko Mihaylov, Galya Asenova, and Nikolay Chepishev. The start of the festival will be given a glimpse of all the festival participants and a great Bulgarian traditional folklore dance called horo.

As part of the festival, Karnobat Rock Fest will be on the 15th after the break battles. The stars are Milena Slavova and the Yambol group Seconday. On the 16th of July will be chosen the new beatbox champion of Bulgaria. As part of the festival, you can also enjoy the work of authors with traditional techniques such as pottery and woodcarving, or to assure the skills of jugglers and masters of other forms of contemporary street art.
