A festival of Balkan music and cuisine will be held in Sandanski between 5th and 8th of July and the entrance for all concerts and events is free of charge. The party will begin at 12.30 pm on July 5 with a culinary show. A dance workshop is planned for the guests and residents of the city, followed by a Balkan DJ party. A tournament of chess, backgammon and cards will take place between 2 pm and 4 pm. The musical program on the first day of the festival begins at 6 pm with performances by the children’s dance ensemble from the village of Sklave, followed by the Hope dance group and the municipal brass orchestra.

The official opening of the festival is 06.50 pm. Then the audience will rejoice Iva and Velislava Kostadinovi, Denia Pencheva, Claudia, Yordanis Agapitos from Greece and the rock band Signal. On the 6th, the festive day starts again at 11.30 am with a culinary show, dance workshop, DJ party and backgammon, chess and card tournament. Concerts begin at 6 pm. The audience will be able to enjoy the performances of the municipal dance ensemble “Praznik”, the dance school “Lingov”, Iliana Katerinkin, Radostina Panyova, Nancy, Sasho Roman and Andrea.

On 7th and 8th of July, between 12.30 pm and 4 pm, a Balkan party will take place. On Saturday, the concert program includes folk groups from the village of Struma, children’s dance ensemble “Zvezditza”, Ashley, Rumiana Popova, Mira and Keba. At the 8th you can hear live “Kitka Sharena” Ensemble, the vocal group “Zvanche”, Ensemble “Nikola Vaptsarov”, duet Pirin, Saga, Krum, Rumina and Toni Storaro.
