Bansko nominated for a Best World Resort Award
Bansko resort was nominated to participate in the World Ski Awards competition which ranks world’s best resorts and is part of World Travel Awards. The contest is the Oscar of the travel industry. There are 21 countries, including Russia, Sweden, Austria, Japan, Switzerland, Germany and Finland, nominated for the prestigious award. The complex rating of the best resort will be made by professionals from all over the world in the field of ski resorts and ski industry: tour operators, managers of ski resorts, media experts, travelers, and anyone who uses the services offered in winter resorts.
Several other Bulgarian resorts – Pamporovo, Borovets and Vitosha, will also participate in a different category for Best Ski Resort. For the Best Ski Hotel Award in Bansko resort are nominated the following hotels: Lucky Bansko, Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena and Premier. The nominee in Borovets is Festa Winter Palace and in Pamporovo it is Orlovets hotel.
