The seaside capital of Bulgaria, Varna on the days until 7th of October, will become the capital of beer. Until then, the “Varna Oktoberfest” will be held in the Black Sea city. Visitors will be able to sample over 500 beer from around the world. They will be served with German rusks, steaks, Indian and Japanese specialities.
The entry of the Bulgarian Oktoberfest will be free of charge. During the week, the parlours, stands and bus stops will be open from 2 pm to 10 pm, and during the weekend from 10 am to 11 pm.
The program also provides various concerts each evening. Varna and the guests of the city will be able to hear the performances of Bugi Barabata and his band, Leo and the game, Stoyan Royanov-Ya, the German hip-hop group Down Low, Petya Alexa, Sevi, Echoo-Balkan Samba, Action & Fire and DJ Mitakis.
