On the 26th and 27th of September in the resort “St. St. Konstantin and Elena” will be chosen the best chef of Bulgaria. Competitors for the prize will compete in four categories. Apart from being the best chef of the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (BHRA) for 2018, the participants will also be able to win the title best confectioner, the best young chef and the best young confectioner.
The chefs will compete in innovative Balkan cuisine. The jury who will evaluate them is made up of professional chefs like Radi Stambolov and Ivan Zvezdev. The selection committee will include representatives of BHRA, Ministry of Tourism and Varna Municipality. There is also a seminar section, where everyone can get acquainted with the latest culinary trends.
Free wine tasting, as well as an accompanying exhibition of products for the restaurant and professional equipment, are also provided. The chef-actor Uti Bachvarov will host the event. The two-day culinary fiesta will end with a cocktail on the occasion of World Tourism Day – September 27th.
