Borovets – innovations for the upcoming winter season 2014

Winter resort Borovets prepares for the upcoming season ‘Winter 2014’. The concessionaire of the slopes realized investment program totaling EUR 40 million. This season fans of winter sports will be pleasantly surprised. There will be a new system with contactless cards and two new desks selling lift passes and tickets, which will reduce queues and improve access to facilities. Another innovation is that everyone can pay cards for ski services by internet. There are an improvements in the most modern attraction in Borovets – Borosport Snow Park. This season the park is turned into a favorite place for beginners and experienced snowboarders. The park will be at the top of the track “Popangelov.” Also, there will be more interesting configuration of jumps and obstacles. The park will have three zones of difficulty – for experts, for intermediate and for beginners. Borovets prepares for many sporting events – Alpine Skiing FIS European Cup Men 2014, which will be held on 15 and 16 February. Best alpine skiers in the world will gather for a final check before XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. The competition will take place on the track “Popangelov”. Team of experts will help for the organization of the prestigious competition.
