Borovets opens winter season 2013-2014

The official opening of the new Winter Season’2014 in Borovets is on December 14th – Saturday. The resort will welcome its guests with a potpourri of activities and performances under the theme “Fire & Ice” with Kamen Vodenicharov as special guest-presenter. There will be a Snow Bar serving mulled wine and tea. The guests could visit the Ice Carving demonstrations in front of the Rila Hotel or enjoy the free ride jumps in Promo-Snow Park “Borosport”.

A carnival procession will wander along the streets of Borovets and cheerleaders will perform in front of the Rila Hotel. There will be a special “Find the Treasure” game with the public with lots of prizes.

A lot of fun is awaiting the kids with clowns, games, face painting and art workshops. For children between 4 and 10 years, there will be free ski lessons with free ski equipment taking place in “Borokids” park. The two events not to miss are the “Fire Show” in front of the Rila Hotel late in the afternoon and the “Night Show” of the ski instructors right after that, taking place on “Martinovi baraki 2” ski run.

The program in details: 09:30-15:30 – Borokids Park – free ski lessons for children, age 4-10, with free equipment 11:00-19:00 – Snow Bar (happy hour 5-6 p.m.) 11:00-16:00 – Animation for children 13:00-15:00/ 14:00-16:00 Carnival procession 12:00-19:00 – DJ music 12:00-14:00 – Demonstrations in “Borosport” Promo-Snow Park 13:00-17:00 – Ice carving workshop 15:00-15:30 – Cheerleaders performance in front of the Rila Hotel 16:00-17: 00 – Demonstrations of children’s ski and snowboard teams 14:00-17:00 – “Find the Treasure”Game 17:00- 17:30 – Pronouncing the winners in the Game 17:30- 17:50 – “Fire Show” in front of the Rila Hotel 18:00 – 18:20 – “Night Show” of the ski instructors on “Martinovi baraki 2”
