11 Bulgarian beaches will receive the prestigious sign for the purity and compliance with the Blue Flag ecological norms. The sigh with the symbol for convenience, safety and clear sea water in 2017 in Bulgaria are with one more compared to the previous summer. After 2 years of absence in the list of the best beaches with the sign returns Albena.

Among the new winners of the Blue Flag sign is the White Lagoon beach in Kavarna. Unlike last year, from the prestigious list is missing the beach of Sunny Beach –  north, because of the difficulties in choosing the owner of the beach. The rest of the list preserved the signs from last summer – the beaches Oazis, Dyuni, Sozopol-Harmanite, Pomorie-East, Sunny beach-south, Sveti Vlas-central, Sveti Vlas-new beach, Sveti Vlas-east and Marina Dinevi yacht port.

All beaches in Bulgaria are a total of 238, with nearly half of them being operated by private owners. More and more tourists are interested in choosing a hotel from the certificate that has the beach. There is also a tendency for most major tour operators to categorize the beaches along which they offer a summer vacation.
