Because of planned repairs at the Burgas airport planes wont be able to land  from  October 31st  to December 30th. This was announced by the operator of the airport “Fraport Twin Star Airport Management”. According to informed sources, after the renovation of the airport it will be able to welcome more tourists. An increase in the number of visitors in the Burgas region is expected for the next summer season.

The tracks of the airport will be rehabilitated and reconstructed. Also will be replaced and the management and the control of lighting equipment and lighting approaches. The total investment in the renovation of the airport is 12 million Lev.
