Changes in Visa Policy of Bulgaria

On 25.01.2012 Government of the Republic of Bulgaria decided that holders of Schengen visas can visit and stay in Bulgaria without having a Bulgarian visa. The holders of the following visas and residence permits are entitled to enter and reside in the Republic of Bulgaria for a period not more than three months in any six-month period from the date of first entry, without owning a Bulgarian visa for short stay. This change in Visa Policy of Bulgaria will affect the citizens from all countries now have a visa regime with Bulgaria and with the EU. The citizens from China, Turkey, Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and other countries that have already issued Schengen visas or residence permits will be no extra effort to stay in the territory of Bulgaria. This change in Visa Policy of Bulgaria will reflect favorably on the number of tourists, visiting Bulgaria, which is getting more popular and accessible tourist destination.
