In the week until June 30 small children can make their first steps in mastering traditional Bulgarian crafts. This will be possible during the festival “Week of Traditional Crafts”, which will be held at the Ethnographic Museum of Plovdiv.
Between 9 am and 6 pm, you can buy handmade items from craftsmen, knitters, jewellers, producers of musical instruments, weavers, artists who turn the tree into art. As well as the art of craftsmen who make dolls, paint on silk and Easter eggs, doing glasswork, knitting and embroidering.
On June 27th, between 10 am and 12 o’clock, workshops will be opened for painting pebbles and figures, painting Easter eggs, making embroidery, jewellery, pottery, dolls and candles. In the atelier of making dolls can participate children who are over 10 years of age. Each of the masters determines the price of the lessons himself, including the materials used. On June 28 again between 10 am and 12 o’clock, the youngest can also learn the secrets of these crafts, and on June 29, the workshops will open between 2 pm and 4 pm.
