Hundreds of presents that have filled a classroom this week will be sold to charity by teachers, parents and pupils from the 122th Lozenets School in Sofia. From today they can be found at a booth at the Park Center Mall, and from tomorrow also in the school lobby.
The cause for the funds is “Ole-Male” – an initiative of the Mother Milla Foundation, which aims to help mothers of disabled children work and support themselves. More than 50 children, teachers and parents took part in the making of gifts and treats for the charity bazaar on the volunteer’s day – 5 December.
Work goes on this week as well, when fourth-grade pupils will be kissing pretzels in the school chair, which will also be sold to support mothers of disabled children. At the same time, the first amount to support the initiative goes to the school’s cash register as early as 12 December.
At a charity bazaar at Cargotec Business Services Bulgaria, a mother of two pupils at 122 OU managed to sell children-made items for 250 leva. The charity bazaar in the school will continue until December 20th. Handmade items will be sold by students.
