Colours from Bulgaria at Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow

On the threshold of the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi in the halls of Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow was opened the photography exhibition “Colours from Bulgaria.” Organized by the Bulgarian Cultural Institute, the exhibition will delight thousands of passengers at Sheremetyevo Airport for two months. On 28 canvases are presented remarkable natural impressions and cityscapes whose author is Michail Kalinin – painter, organizational secretary of the Union of Russian filmmakers and a great friend of Bulgaria. The exhibition presents modern Bulgaria as a dynamically developing center for cultural and eco-tourism, it also depicts places related to the history and spiritual energy of Bulgaria, such as the romantic corners of Koprivshtitza, the quaint streets of Sofia and Plovdiv, the walls of Bachkovo monastery and of Asen’s fortress.
