What is the biggest potato produced this year will be made clear during the specialized festival “Kartofest” in the Rhodope town of Chepelare. The competition is only part of the program, which will entertain the local people and the guests of the town on 27th and 28th of October in the “Olympic” square. During the event you will be able to taste typical Rhodope specialties such as patatnik, wedge and a bunch of potato-based dishes.

Организатори на фестивала са община Чепеларе и Национална асоциация на картофопроизводителите в България. Предвидена е и фолклорна програма, която няма да има състезателен характер, но ще можете да се насладите на звука на родопската гайда. Предвидени са различни състезания с картофи за малки и големи, както и детска работилница.
