If you want to immerse yourself in the magic of Bulgarian traditional crafts and get unique objects in which the creators embrace your soul, visit the Crafts Fair in Oreshak. From the 12th to the 15th of August you can buy practical household goods, enjoy musical performances and reveal the secrets of the past.

The opening of the fair is on the 12th of August on the stage in front of the entrance of the National Exhibition of Art Crafts and Arts Oreshak from 7 p.m. Even before the official part, you can see the craftsmen’s works and buy them. Because they will demonstrate their skills every day during the event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On the 12th and 13th of August, the organizers have prepared summer musical evenings. From 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., music programs are provided. The guests of Oreshak village will be able to listen to favorite Bulgarian popular and folk songs. Nearby is the Troyan Monastery, so do not miss to pray for the miraculous icons in it. In fact, the tradition dates because of the nearness of the monastery, whose walls from the second half of the 18th century gather craftsmen in the days around the temple feast of the monastery – August 15th. The tradition continues to this day.
