This July again in Malko Tarnovo will take place craft festival. The event will take place on 29 and 30 July. Throughout the first day of the festival from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. the audience will be able to attend various demonstrations and workshops.
The guests will be able to get acquainted with the secrets of pottery, carpeting, carving, making jewelry and other arts and crafts. In addition, you can also learn how to make home-made candies or go for a two-wheeler. Throughout the day, you can also see the theme foto exhibition of Strandzha’s craft by the Turkish photographers Nedret Benzet, Erfan Baican and Semre Gokce.
From 10 a.m. to 12 o’clock you can taste the delicious Stuilovo beans. From 11 a. start the performances of the folklore groupsErkchechanka from the village of Kozichino and Calgamach from the village of Bata. Between 12 and 1 p.m., there will be a bazaar of local regional dishes and Russian cuisine. From 01.30 p.m. you will be able to join the attraction of semi-finished works and try your powers with the knitting needles.
From 2 p.m. you can learn more about healing herbs. The official opening of the festival is at 7 p.m. It will be followed by a folk concert featuring Alexandra Dimitrova – Sashka, Petko Yangiosov, and Zhelyazko Angelov. On July 30, demonstrations, workshops and two – wheeled walks will last up to 3 p.m.
