You can make the first steps in the hot rhythms of tango if you are in Burgas on 28th April. A free lesson will take place in the seaside town from 6 p.m to 7 p.m. in the Marine casino Cultural Center. If you have already advanced in the art of dancing, you can learn new tricks and improve yourself thanks to two Argentina couples with a wealth of professional experience. Mario Bournissen will show you how to express your love with Laura Rusconi and German Cuestas and Eva Lehrmann will leave you speechless in front of the magic of the dance.
The event is organized by the Burgas Tango Society with the help of the Argentine embassy in Bulgaria. For your good mood, apart from the pairs of Latin America, will take care DJ Dimitur Dimitrov from Burgas, Iliya Chetrokov from Plovdiv and Irfan Dömmez from Istanbul, Turkey. During the three evenings of the event, they will conduct milongas parties at 10 p.m. You can prepare for the dancing theoretically with a series of tango films that will be broadcast all day on April 28 from 7:30 a.m. to 06:30 p.m. in Petya Dubarova Hall.
On the 28th from 07:15 p.m. to 08:45 p.m., you can take part in the general lessons of German Cuestas and Eva Lehrmann, who will teach you how to change dynamics and show you techniques for more free and creative dance. On Saturday, 29 April from 1 p.m. to 02:30 p.m., men will be able to refine themselves with the help of Mario Bournissen. From 02:45 p.m. to 04:15 p.m., it is the ladies’ order to learn grace by Laura Rusconi. The couple will pass a general lesson between 06:15 p.m. and 07:45 p.m.
On April 30, Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 02:30 p.m. ladies will be able to learn basic techniques with Eva Lehrmann. During the lesson, the foundations of the dance will be examined: posture, walking, pivoting and gripping. From 02:45 p.m. to 04:15 p.m., gentlemen will learn some of German Custas tricks. Between 04:30 p.m. and 06:00 p.m. is the general lesson with the couple. From 09:00 p.m., you can also watch short documentaries about tango.
