The winter season in Borovets will be opened on December 23rd. The two other major ski resorts of Bansko and Pamporovo-Mechi Chal already offer open runs for enthusiasts who want to experience the first snow skiing or snowboarding. Traditionally, Borovets promises on 23th of December adventures and games on the slopes. In addition, during the first day of the season in the resort, the slopes will be available for free at night.
This year, Borovets will give a hand to young people from the region and will give free lift cards for the whole season to 3861 girls and boys aged 7-18 who are studying in Samokov municipality. The tradition of children in the region and their teachers to have free ski cards began two years ago. The cards for free access to the lifts and lifts will be available at the lifts of the Martini Baraki sedan chairlift.
Students must be included in the pre-defined list to get a card. Parental consent statements will also be required to use the facility. And youngsters up to 14 years of age will not be entitled to take advantage of the unattended night-time. Over the last winter season, over 500 students have benefited from free options.
