Every guest of the first Festival of the Bulgarian embroidery in Beloslav can take a free boat trip on the floating canal near the town. The festival will be held for a first time in the town near Varna on 9 September. The free trip given by the local municipality will depart from the quay south on the seaside promenade. On the ship can go maximum 60 people. The departures are at 12.40 p.m., 01.10 p.m., 01.30 p.m. and 03. 20 p.m.
The embroidery festival itself starts at 9 o’clock and will continue until 6 p.m.at Vuzrajdane Square in Beloslav. The accent will be on the authentic Bulgarian embroidery and the modern reading of the traditions. Visitors will be able to look at and buy clothes, bracelets, jewelry, shirts and household items with an accent of handmade or painted Bulgarian embroidery.
During the festival, you will be able to learn more about the Bulgarian embroidery and the various folklore areas. There are exhibitions, ethnographic talks, costume reviews, and embroidery workshops. As well as a concert with folk songs and dances.
In order to ignite the children with the magic of the Bulgarian embroidery, different entertaining sections are provided for them. The beauty of our grandmother’s crafts and modern creations will be sealed by photographers, and calendars will be produced from the photos.
