Between the 20th and the 26th of June in Plovdiv will be held the 6th edition of the Days of Thracian Culture Festival, organized by Trakart. The official opening of the “Meeting of Civilizations” Festival with the participation of Ensemble “Presto” and Art group “Slavena” will take place on 20 June at 6 pm at the Roman Stadium. The richness of the Hittite culture will be presented with a concert, live performances of historical Hit instruments and a “Hittite Trail” review.

The program of the 21st will continue with a theatrical production, screening of a documentary and an exhibition of copies of museum exhibits from the Hittite culture exhibited in Turkey. The 22nd International Conference “When the Sun was God” was held and the documentary film by Tsvetan Simeonov “The City of the Sun” will be screened.

The festival’s program for June 23 foresees the continuation of the international conference and demonstration of equipment for ceramics production and restoration. The next few days will continue with screenings of documentaries, concerts and exhibitions. On the last day of the festival will be awarded the best songs from the literary contest “Thracian heirs”.
