A film about the Bulgarian attraction Castle “In love in the wind” in Ravadinovo won a prestigious international prize. The award ceremony for the Laureates at the International Film Festival was held at Topkapi Palace in Istanbul.
In competition with 52 films with strong actors from Europe and Asia, the only Bulgarian film “In love with the wind”, dedicated to the legend of the castle of the same name, won the award in the category “Tourist Destination”. And with very strong competition from over 30 films from the host country – Turkey.
Congratulations on the original scenario and its remarkable realization dedicated to the Bulgarian attraction was also personally directed by the director of the Association of Film Festivals – Vienna, Alexander Kamel. The film was officially invited and will present Bulgaria as a tourist destination at the Cannes, Porto, Zagreb and Cape Town festivals.
With its participation in such forums, the Castle, inspired and built by its tireless owner and architect, Georgi Thupalov, defends the name of Bulgaria on a world tour of the world. The attraction is honored with the Gold and Silver Prize at the A’design Award at ITALY and the Gold Prize of ITB China in Shanghai. Bulgaria was presented with the Castle as a tourist destination of the Macao Investment Forum.
“In love with the wind” is also a leader of the romantic destinations in Europe, according to the European Best Destinations. The combination of traditional tourist techniques for advertising with the power and magic of art leads to a much more lasting and permanent effect not only to increase the flow of tourists but also to attract investors’ interest to Bulgaria, the experts appreciate the attraction as a successful tourist product.
