You can skate absolutely free in Sofia today. The reason is the opening for the winter season of the ice rink in the park “Vazrazhdane” in the capital. It is located in the multifunctional sports complex and was opened in the winter of 2015. So if you are fans of skating, you have sophisticated pirouettes and you want to shout out in front of your friends, do not miss the opportunity to do it for free.
The skating rink will also feature instructors that will teach beginner children and adults about the ins and outs of ice skating. In addition, you can see if you to have ice hockey or skating talent finding the right teachers at the facility in Sofia. Every winter early in the morning between 8.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. the slides are free for students from the capital and children from kindergartens.
The ice rink has an area of 800 square meters and there can simultaneously have fun for up to 100 people. The opening hours of the facility are from 8:30 a.m. to 09:30 p.m., and tickets can be bought after 9 p.m. The entrance fee is 4 leva /approximately 2 euro/, the rent of skates – 3 leva/approximately 1,5 euro/, and the instructor training for 30 minutes – 5 leva per person /approximately 2,5 euro/.
