The home of the famous Bulgarian artist Vladimir Dimitrov-Maistora will be opened for visitors on 13 June from 1 pm. The house of the artist in the village of Shishkovtsi, Kyustendil was renovated and turned into a museum. It will present a documentary exposition about the life of the Bulgarian artist, which will complement the collection of paintings by the Master, exhibited at the Art Gallery in Kyustendil.
Visitors will be able to feel the atmosphere that makes the artist fall in love with the Bulgarian village and create his most famous works. It is no coincidence that the Master called the village Shishkovtsi the capital of paradise. Tourists will be able to see the palette with which the artist, his apron, photographs and texts written by him. Visitors will also be able to see Bulgarian folk costumes depicted in the paintings of the Master together with their proud owners.
