The ice rink on Lake Ariana in Sofia is already working. This year it will work around the clock. Everyone can have fun there until end of March. The rink has an area of 1400 square meters and is the largest in the Balkans. The entrance to t is 5 lev or approximately 2,5 euro but you have to pay another 4 lev or approximately 2 euro to rent skates there.

This year, 400 pairs of skates will be rented. The rink can be used free of charge every morning from 8 a.m. to 9.30 a.m from the children of the local kindergartens and schools. For beginners on the ice the experts recommend to skate near the railings and to be careful. Naturally hat and warm clothing are required.

Before days opened also the ice rink in Plovdiv. To skate there you have to pay  5 lev or approximately 2,5 euro per hour and a half ride. However, the shoes rental is included. The area of the rink is 1 400 square meters.The opening hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. You can skate there even if you are a professional , because in addition to instructors for beginners on the rink are working also professional coaches.
