For the fifth consecutive year, the beach of Varna will become much more colorful, thanks to the hundreds of kites that will make the sky brighter. On 12th and 13th of August, the Kite Festival ” Sky Wonders – Varna 2017″ will take place. Unlike other years, however, the first day of the festival will be on the beach of Kamchia.
The opening is on August 12th from 10 a.m. at the beach in Kamchia and the second day the party will be on the beach of Asparuhovo, again with an opening hour at 10 a.m. The viewers will have fun with performances of music and dance ensembles, mini concerts and art workshops. Like every year, there will also be a competition for best photography.
The festival is international and takes part not only from Bulgaria but also from all over the world. Traditionally, wise men can learn how to manage masterful kites and subdue the wind during the festival. There are usually competitions and a contest for the most attractive kite.
