For the 51st time in Kyustendil will choose the most beautiful girl in the city in the competition “Maid Kyustendil Spring 2017”. The beginning is on March 18 at 06:30 p.m. on the square Velbuzhd. The tradition to choose the most charming girl in the town dates since 1966. To win the competition the girls have to impress the jury in each of the three rounds – with official dresses, sportswear, and traditional Bulgarian folk costume.
The candidates for the title this year are 14 and are aged from 16 to 19 years. The winner of the competition will receive a prize of 1500 leva or approximately 750 euro, her two runners-up – 850 leva /425 euro/. All the girls will receive as a gift the luxurious outfits with which are presented in the competition, as well as albums with professional photos.
The audience will also be able to choose their favorite by SMS to short number 1925, indicating the number under which the girl race. The cost of SMS is 1.20 leva with VAT /0,60 euro/. In the festive program will be involved one of the favorite singers of several generations of Bulgarians Silvia Katzarova, along with her daughter Teddy. With songs will impress also the participants of musical shows Victoria Georgieva and Iskren Tonchev – Iskrata. The event will be hosted by Alexander Kadiev and Petya Dikova.
