For a consecutive year in Lovech will be held the Festival of Music and Dance Lilac Music Evenings. This year it will run from 8th to 11th May. During the first evening of the event, the audience will be able to enjoy the ballet performance of the State Opera in Ruse – “Romeo and Juliet”. The beginning is at 7 p.m. in the Drama Theater and the ticket costs 5 leva or approximately 2,5 euro. In the dance performance, the choreographer Silvia Tomova answers the eternal question what love is.
On May 9, children and adults can see the musical „Aladdin“ together. In the main roles of the fairy tale participate the singers Donny, Vesela Delcheva and Denko Prodanov. The music is by Mario Baltadzhiev. The performance is a modern interpretation of the classic tale. The musical starts at 6 p.m. in Stefan Makedonski Theater and the entrance ticket are 3 leva or approximately 1,5 euro.
On May 10 in Lovech will meet the opera and jazz in the performance “Let’s Put the Opera in the Jazz” with the participation of Milica Gladnishka and Mihail Yosifov – sextet. You can hear them on the scene of the Lovech Fortress at 7 p.m. for a ticket of 5 BGN or 2,5 euro.
On May 11, at 7 p.m. in the Theater “Stefan Makedonski”, “The Show Should Continue” begins with the most popular hits of the musicals of the troupe of the eponymous theater. The entrance is again 5 leva or 2,5 euro. On May 11 is also the day of the town of Lovech, which will be celebrated with a concert of the rock band “The Formation”, a laser show and solemn fireworks.
