A march will follow the last steps of the Apostle of Freedom, Vasil Levski, before he was captured by the Ottomans near the Kakrinsko hanche. The symbolic worship of the memory of the brightest symbol of Bulgaria is about the celebration of the tragic date of February 19, when 146 years ago Levski was hanged near Sofia, sacrificing its life for the freedom of the country.
The march will take place on February 19 at 7.15 am. The starting point is in front of the Art Gallery in Lovech. The participants will go the way to Kakrinsko hanche through the place of Pasi Most. At 10 am at the Drama Theater – Lovech will be held a commemorative concert-performance dedicated to Levski, called “Your One Son Bulgaria”.
At 11 am civil worship begins in the Kakrinsko hanche and from 6 pm in the Drama Theater of the town you can see the documentary show “He! Levski “. On 11th and 12th of February, you can take part in the bibliophile lessons of patriotism in Lovech. On February 18, at 5:30 pm, the apostle will be served at the temple “Assumption”, where Levsky himself served. At 6 pm, civil worship begins with a military ritual at the monument of the Apostle.
