Today at 0:7 p.m. will be opened the festival March Music Days in Ruse. The start of the event will be given by the Prime Minister Ognyan Gerdjikov, the Vice President Iliana Yotova and the Culture Minister Rashko Mladenov. The first performance of the festival will carry the born in Ruse winner of prestigious World Music Awards Svetlin Rusev with his violin together with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra. The conductor is talented Leo Kuokman, described by American critics as “amazing conductor’s talent” for its elegance, confidence and great sense of control
On March 11 from 11. 30 a.m. in Ruse you can enjoy time Svetlin Rusev and Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra for a second as a part of the March Music Days Junior. On March 12th the audience can enjoy at 07:00 p.m. the Ruse Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir Danube sounds with conductor Georgi Dimitrov and soloists Gottlieb Valley on the piano and the baritone Ivan Konsulov.
The program continues on March 13 from 07:00 p.m. with performances by Evgeni Bozhanov piano. You can celebrate 20 years touring of Duo concertante with Rosen Idealov – clarinet and Gheorghita Boyadjieva – Nikolova – cello on March 14 from 07:00 p.m.
Every day until March 26 in Ruse you will be able to enjoy classical music and amazing virtuosos. The festival will take nearly 700 participants from 14 countries. Among the participants are the Russian violist and conductor Yuri Bashamet, ensemble “Moscow Soloists”, Chicago Jazz Philharmonic, the German baritone Matthias Gyor, the Lithuanian accordionist Martynas Levitskis, the Czech quartet Clarinet factory, the Italian Marco Bisli and his old ensemble.
