With a traditional march to Mechi Chal peak will celebrate in Chepelare the national holiday of Bulgaria on March 3rd. The start will be at 08.30 am at the Olympic Square in the city. The march will be accompanied by patriotic songs and national flags. The march will first visit the memorial of the killed in the wars local people who had to become heroes and then it will go on to the peak.

At the same time, you can take part in the march to Chelevishka cave near the village of Orehovo. The program for the celebration of March 3 in Chepelare will continue at 05:30 pm in the “Olympic” square. Then you can hear folk songs and watch traditional dances, as well as call the Children’s Theater of the Rhodope Spark 1880 National Community Center.

The day will end with a solemn program and military work with the participation of the 101st Alpine Regiment – Smolyan at 6 pm on the Olympic square in Chepelare.
