The Ministry of Tourism received the prestigious “Best Country Presentation Award” at the 27th International Tourism Exhibition MITT’2021 during the award ceremony for the participants in the exhibition.

During the first two days of the forum, the interest of professional visitors to Bulgaria as a tourist destination and the opportunities for rest and recovery are great. A number of Russian regions have also shown interest in intensifying professional contacts with Bulgarian tourist organizations and companies.

MITT is the largest international tourism exhibition in Russia in the category “Tourism and Recreation”, a business platform for countries, regions and travel companies from around the world, which present their tourism products and services on the Russian market.

After a one-year break, this is the first offline tourism exhibition in Russia, in which 1,533 participants from 52 Russian regions and 15 countries meet, including Turkey, Greece, Cuba, Israel, Croatia, Kazakhstan and others.

Bulgaria is a traditional participant in this major international tourism forum. This year, too, the Ministry of Tourism organized the Bulgarian participation, and for the first time, due to closed borders, Bulgarian tour operators were represented by their Russian partners. Our country presented itself at the exhibition with an attractive national stand and presentations in several events of the business program.
