Top beauties will choose the new 52nd Miss Kyustendil Spring on March 17th. Then, at Velbuzhdad Square in the city famous for its mineral water, the former winners of the title will choose their current heiress. The start of the competition is at 7 p.m. And the chosen maiden will bring to life the spring and will symbolize the awakening of nature for a new life. The tradition of choosing the most beautiful girl in town dates back to 1966.

The candidates this year are 14 and are aged from 16 to 19 years old. They will be shown in front of the audience and the jury in three rounds – dressed in formal clothing, sportswear, and national Bulgarian costumes. Hosts of the event will be Stanimir Gamov and Diana Lyubenova, and Dicho, Tita and Steven Achoror will take care of the good mood of everyone with their music.

The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of 1500 leva /approximately 750 Euro/, and her two runners will receive BGN 850 /approximately 425 Euro/. All participants will receive from Kyustendil Municipality as a gift and the official outfits and shoes with which they participate in the show, as well as luxurious photo albums. The audience will also be able to choose their favorite girl by voting with Sms.
