Burgas Sand Festival is opened for 9th time. This year the theme that inspired the artists is “Movie heroes”. The result is astonishing. The visitors can take pictures together with Batman, Tarzan, Winnie the Pooh, the Little Prince, Penguins of Madagascar, the characters from Star wars and many more. Over 2500 tons of sand is used every year in the fest in order to build the fantastic models. The special lighting adds to the charm of the unique sand city in the evening. You can see the art works in the Burgas Park “Ezero”, on an area of five decres, immediately next to the beach. You can visit the Sand sculptures festival every day until the end of September. The working time is from 08:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The price of the tickets is 3, 50 leva /approximately 1, 7 euro/ for adults , 1, 50 leva for students and retirements /approximately 70 euro cents/ and 2, 50 leva /approximately 1,2 euro/ if you visit the festival with group. Children under the age of 7 and people with special needs enter for free. Data on sand sculptures art dates as far back as Ancient Egypt.
