For the sixth consecutive year in the village of Dobrich will hold a national Thracian fair for authentic folklore „ In the footsteps of the Virgin Mary“. If you wish to become part of the holiday and to enjoy the unique Bulgarian folk songs and dances, visit the village in Dimitrovgrad municipality on 12th and August 13th. The beginning is at 10 a.m. in the park of the village of Dobrich. The event is organized under the patronage of the mayor of Dimitrovgrad Ivo Dimov.

In the festival will participate groups presenting folk traditions and customs within 10 minutes and folk singing and instrumental groups will perform two works with a time limit of eight minutes. You will also be able to see dance group and ensemble performances, each program lasting up to 15 minutes. Individual performers will perform with one slow and one fast song within 5 minutes.

The awarding of the best performers will be on August 13 at 06.30 p.m. The best participants will receive a plaque and a diploma to contribute to the preservation of traditional Bulgarian culture. All participants in the meeting will receive a participation certificate. Organizers of the council are Dimitrovgrad Municipality, Dobrich Village Hall and Probuda 1926 National Cultural Center.
