A new indoor mineral water-powered swimming pool has opened in Sofia. The swimming facility is part of the project for the expansion of the Vuzrazhdane Park in the capital. The pool is of Olympic size and will use it to utilize the entire flow of Batalov’s Watermill. Under the project, five outdoor swimming pools will be constructed in the new water complex of the capital.
Three of the facilities are designed for children, and one of the pools will be specialised for hydromassage. The fifthr will be 1.40 meters deep. The total area of the project is 6600 sq.m. There will be three water slides, two of them will have one chute, and the last – with three in parallel.
There will also be a spa center for the fans of the gluttony. The project also provides fast food establishments, sun beds and benches for relaxation in the green areas, 2 fountains. There will be picnic areas, sunbathing and games.
