New winter resort in Bulgaria
The French hotel group ACCOR and PGI Management – an international operator of ski resorts in partnership with the Bulgarian company planned to invest 550 million euros in one of a kind on the Balkans ski resort. The resort, whose name will be “Destination Rila” will be located between the village Govedartsi and Separeva Banya. It will offer the longest runways in Bulgaria about 155 km, aquapark, golf center and more than 30 different tourist attractions. The idea is to turn the resort into a all year-round destination. “Destination Rila” will be split into several different villages where will be built hotels from 2 to 5 stars with capacity about 200,000 visitors.
