The night photo of Plovdiv taken by the bulgarian photograph Stoian Stoianov is maybe one of the most beautiful photos ever taken. This photo took the first place in the competition which was organized by National geographic Russia. The shot was taken from height and it represents the night view of the ancient bulgarian city.

The competition lasted from 29th of april to 31st of may 2015. In this competition there nominated 3 winners, 1 by the representative members of National geographic, other by the company Casio, and the last one but not least is nominated by the audience.

National geographic nominated the work of Stoian Stoianov which represents the beautiful landscape of Plovdiv covered with snow during the winter. The other two competitors who made it to the final are from Russia.

Every winner of the competition will receive from Casio the latest model of their watches called Casio ProTrek-PRW-3500. These watches are made especially for people who are keen on extreme activities.
