Pamporovo is actively preparing for the new season
Pamporovo resort will invest more than 5 million leva for the upcoming 2013-2014 season. The management of the resort plans the launch of a new four-seat gondola lift, which will reduce the load on the busiest ski trails and cable cars. The new facility will operate from the area, called “Dvata mosta” (The two bridges), to Snezhanka peak.
Other investments will replace the old gondola lift passes with new smart cards, which will certainly help to increase the capacity of the most frequently used ski trails. The equipment of the ski storage facilities will be improved too. All these innovations will definitely facilitate the expected growth of about 20% of foreign tourists in Pamporovo resort for 2013-2014 season.
