Potters present their craft at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia

Presentation of Bulgarian traditional pottery will be held on Saturday, April 28 under the title “Song of the Wheels”. Between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., every citizen and guest of Sofia will have the opportunity to fully understand the intricacies of the craft and representatives of the guild who will open the curtain to the secrets of the Bulgarian craft, transformed by generations of masters into art.

The event is part of the cultural program accompanying the Council of Europe’s presidency of Bulgaria. The Street of Crafts will open doors on the 4th floor of the National Palace of Culture. As part of the “Song of the Wheels ” initiative, the craft of the craft was presented, together with music from native folklore, weaving, and the tradition of making martenitsas.
