Traditionally, during the second week of June in Pavel Banya, the holiday of rose and mineral water will take place. In 2017, the festival will be held from 8th to 11th June. The beginning will be given by the competition for the most beautiful girl Queen of the Rose – Pavel Banya 2017 on the summer stage of the Central Square in the city. Celebrated performers and dancers will take part in the ceremony.

On 9 June, at 6:30 p.m. on the streets of the town will defile the participants of the International Folklore Festival. Half an hour later on the summer stage at the Central Square officially opens the Festival of the Roses and the mineral water, followed by concerts.

The official start of the swimming summer in the spa resort is from 11 a.m. at the beach complex in Pavel Banya.

Then the King of Mineral Water will be chosen and the audience will be able to participate in a number of competitions and games. At 6 p.m. on the main square in the town will be presented the life, culture, traces and crafts of all settlements in the municipality of Pavel Banya. At 07:30 p.m., there is a procession and carnival games on the streets of the city, during which you can enjoy one of the last masked dancers /”kukeri/ for the calendar year. The festive concert in the square is at 08:30 p.m.

On June 11 at 10 a.m. you can enjoy the performance of the ritual of picking roses up near  Pavel Banya. As well as the songs and dances of folk compositions. Presenting the modern and traditional methods for processing the rose colors can be seen from 11 a.m. in the distillery’s village of Skobelevo. From 7 p.m. on the main square will be awarded the participants of the International Folklore Festival and will be closed the Feast of Rose and Mineral Water.
