The castle “In love with the wind” was selected as one of the best in Europe. The Bulgarian touristic  attraction was recognised among other famous castles like The Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany, the Alcazar Castle in Spain and Windsor Castle in England. The difference from all the other selected sites is that the Bulgarian is not a historic one but build from one single man – the owner Georgi Tumpalov.   The castle is inspired from the fairy tales he read as a child. The result is astonishing not only because of the building itself but also because of the marvelous gardens full of different flowers and of the magical lake with white and black swans swimming inside. “In love in the wind”  is built on a unique place near the sea and only 6 kilometers away from the town of Sozopol. On the property there is a unique natural phenomenon. There the wind loves the sun. And whenever there is a sun shining in the sky in the castle there is  a wind. So even in the hottest days of the summer the castle is a nice place to walk around.   The castle attracts enormous crowds of visitors from all over the world. The castle was awarded the prize for the most attractive tourist site of the year by the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association. In 2013, Walt Disney used its natural décor to make its movie “The Sleeping Beauty ” In 2016 the castle won the first prize of the international competition “A’ Design Awards 2016” in the category: “A Hospitality, Recreation, Travel and Tourism Design“.
