The fans of vintage cars can enjoy restored old vehicles during the first vintage parade in Vladaya. On 14th of August in the village, which is located just 15 km from Sofia, participants from all over Bulgaria will present their classic vehicles and motorcycles. The entrance to the event is completely free.
There will be held different competitions and the winners will receive prizes. During the event will be chosen the best restored car, the most beautiful vintage car from Vladaya and the favorite vehicle of the spectators. The mayor of Vladaya also gave a special prize. There will be also a competition for skillful driving. Finally, all cars will make a parade lap.
Among the criteria for evaluation of the vintage cars are the condition of the type paint, the absence of rust, the condition of the chrome or nickel plated parts, the rims, headlights and the original emblems. A positive evaluation will be contributed if the vehicle is not improved with modern elements that are not typical of the era in which it was created. The event starts at 11.00 a.m.
