Ryanair leaves flights to Aqaba

A new destination is found by low-cost carrier Ryanair. The carrier will fly between the Bulgarian capital Sofia and the largest city on the Red Sea Aqaba in Jordan. The flights will be operated twice a week and will end in the schedule from the end of October 2018 and the tickets will be available for sale at the end of February.

Aqaba is a resort and port city in Jordan, situated on the Red Sea against Eilat Island in Israel. The bay has over 140 species of coral and also some 40 species of marine animals found there, including fish balloon.

According to oceanologists, Aqaba is one of the 7 underwater wonders of the world. There are many hotels in the city with private beaches, one free public and one with entrance fee. Aqaba is built on the ancient fortress of Ayla, here is the oldest church found so far – from the 3rd century. This is the 34th destination of the Irish company in Bulgaria.
