Between 22nd and September 25th in Balchik will be held the folk festival “Sea of rhythms”. The event focuses on thе Bulgarian roots and traditions and aims to teach the young people to love the folk music and dances. On 22nd at 05:00 p.m. will be held the parade of the participants in the concurs program.
Every day, mornings and afternoons they will be performances. During the festival will be held various workshops for songs and choreographic composition. The childrеn can enjoy themselves and learn the steps of the traditional Bulgarian dances of 23th of September at 08:00 p.m. in the child’s horoteka. To participate in it, however ‘they should say in advance. But all the children can visit the playground for coloring of folk costumes.
The races will be in 5 categories – for authentic folkor dance, ritual folklore, individual artists, group for authentic songs and authentic costume contest. The participants will also receive prizes in different funny categories – fr the smallest and oldest artist, the most artistic child, the most numerous team, a choreographer, a vocal coach, the most handsome lad and the most pretty lady.
On 25th of September will be given the awards of the participants and will be held a gala concert of the greatest orchestras from 10 a.m. All the teams will have the opportunity to visit the pride of Balchik – the Palace.
