55 lev /approximately 27 euro/ will cost this winter one-day ski card for the Bulgarian ski resorts Pamporovo and Mechi Chal. This year you can ski in either resort with just one pass. On December 10, when opened the season in Pamporovo, you can ski or snowboard all day free. In the week to December 18 you pay a one-day card at a discount price of 39 lev/approximately 19 euro/.
The price of the one-day ski pass in Pamporovo compared to the previous season is increased with 2 lev /approximately 1 euro/. This year, however, its range includes also the slopes in Mechi Chal, and a free shuttle bus between the two resort for all skiers. Buses between the two resorts will run every 15-20 minutes. To use them you only have to show your ski pass.
If you choose to use only the facilities in Mechi Chal then you have to pay 40 lev /approximately 20 euro/ for a one-day ski pass. In the promotional week from 11th to December 18th you pay for the one-day pass 29 lev /approximately 14 euro/. In the ski area of Mechi Chal is the longest ski slope in Bulgaria with a length of 5200 km and a width of 25 meters. It is certified and it can hold competitions in alpine skiing for the world ranking. The other track in the area has a length of 3200 m. and a width of 50 meters. The resort has also a 3 km track for ski running.
Until today you can buy seasonal card for the ski slopes in Pamporovo and Mechi Chal on a discount price of 972 lev /approximately 476 euro/. Throughout the season the resort will offer cards with discounts for children.
In the sports calendar of Pamporovo this year there are some big sport events. In March is returning the Freestyle Open at the resort. On 13th and January 14th will be held the European Cup snowboard slopestyle, and on 17th and March 18th – European Cup freestyle ski slopestyle.
