You can enjoy films about mountain adventures and winter sports during Snow cinema in Bansko. The screenings are every night from 22nd to February 25th in the Visitor Information Center. Planned for the evening movies follow immediately one after another. The first film in the program is the Canadian “Eclipse” and starts at 06:30 p.m. The movie tells a story about a trip to the island of Svalbard, which is beyond the Arctic Circle during a sun eclipse.
The second movie for the evening is the Italian film “Leo Gaspar and elegance of turn” and tells the story of the best skier to World War II. The first night you can see also “Grabbed by Everest” /Norway/. On February 23rd are the screenings of “Without skis, I would be bored in the Himalayas” / Poland / and “Man of snows” / Canada /.
The third night the organizers will tempt you with the French film “Winter activity” which is about the free riding and other activities in the mountains, with the Italian movie “Driving 4000” dedicated to speed Riding and with the French one “By way of “Endurance” the experience of Shackleton “- a story about a ship expedition in Antarctica.
On the last day of Snow cinema in Bansko, you can enjoy the “crossing of Antarctica” / France /, “Himalayan principles of the new adventure” / Spain /, “The Final Frontier” / Austria / and “White chaos” / Austria /.
